This is a very simple tutorial explaining how to build your very own rounded cable. They aren’t expensive, but it’s a nice project to do with your simple, flat and ugly IDE cables, making they look better. The reason why I would do that is to increase air circulation inside the case and making it looks better (if you have a window on it). So here goes the tutorial, hope you enjoy. bookmark_borderGeotagging now possible with Flickr

Flickr has just released its new feature, Geo Tagging, where users can set where the pictures were taken and show it on the map, using Yahoo Maps system. If you have an Flickr account, you can go to your Organizr menu and from there, select the Map option.
You can add as many pictures you want from any point on the world map. Map quality isn’t as good as Google Maps, but are quite good on USA and other places. I live in Florianópolis, images aren’t sharpen enough, but I hope soon things will get better.

wikipediaOne interesting week news is that Pluto isn’t a planet anymore. It is now called Dwarf Planet. But what it have to do with technology? Well, while in Wikipedia, the article of the ex-planet was modified some hours after the official announcement made by IAU, normal school books will only be updated just in… 2008.
