JPEG XL has a bright future
The future-proof image format that brings fast, high-quality web photos
JPEG XL is a “new” file format created by the JPEG committee, Google, and Cloudinary, designed to support both lossy and lossless compression. In the future I hope that more browsers can accept this file format, afaik right now the only one that fully renders the images is Safari (who uses safari?).
Can you see the image below? If you can, your browser supports jpeg xl!!!
Another really cool thing about this file format, is the progressive loading, image if we had this in the early 2000 with dial-up!
